Because of this mindset, since opening our doors in 2013, we’ve grown from a small, locally rooted company in Abilene, TX into a widely respected provider of residential and commercial HVAC/R, Electrical, and Plumbing services across Texas. And while our service area has continued to grow, our core values haven’t changed: integrity, accountability, ethics and an unwavering commitment to getting the job done right.

Everything started right here in Abilene. Our founder, Tony Phelps, had a vision to offer more than basic HVAC/R work—he wanted to build a team that could be counted on to bring dependable service to homes, schools, businesses, and critical facilities across Texas. And in true West Texas fashion, that meant rolling up our sleeves, doing the hard work, and always standing behind what we do. In our early years, our work centered solely on HVAC/R. But as our reputation grew and we began serving a wider range of clients from Galveston to Lubbock, we found ourselves supporting everything from residential neighborhoods and municipalities to hospitals, schools, and historic properties. Each brought unique challenges, and Texas’ climate extremes demanded more than just HVAC/R expertise. That’s when we knew it was time to evolve, and we did.

We’re a family-owned and operated company and that’s not just a phrase we throw around. To us, it means treating every technician, every customer, and every community we serve like part of the family. Our long-standing team includes over 120 full-time professionals, with boots on the ground all across this great state. Our people are also more than employees, they’re trusted specialists who take genuine pride in the work they do. How We Arrived Here?
Like many great companies, our journey started with a clear goal and a lot of elbow grease.
In 2013, Tony founded Accurate Air Solutions, LLC with a vision of providing honest, expert HVAC/R services backed by exceptional customer care. By 2015, we expanded into Building Automation Control Systems and HVAC/R Mechanical Installation, answering the call from local institutions and growing businesses across Texas.
By 2018, our evolution continued with the opening of our Electrical Division and the acquisition of Tin Benders, our in-house Sheet Metal Fabrication Shop, which now allows us to custom-build components for faster, more precise installation.
In 2019, we rounded out our full-service offering by introducing residential and commercial plumbing services — enabling us to become a true one-stop solution for large-scale facilities, medical campuses, and everyday homeowners alike.
Most recently, in the first quarter of 2025, we took another big step forward by acquiring a respected residential company to launch a dedicated Residential Division of Accurate Air. This move allows us to bring the same expertise and trusted service that’s made us a leader in commercial and institutional projects directly into more Texas homes, solidifying our commitment to being a full-service partner for every customer we serve.
